Yep. It was awful but few people seemed to object back then. Even as a kid, it always struck me as counterintuitive to permit people to smoke in airplanes where the ventilation was so limited. I guess it was assumed that smokers had more rights than nonsmokers?
Ah, yes; good old Coach Clark. Not much ever got past him. He was a straight shooter.
